January 18, 2010, Barbour County NAACP sponsors the Annual Martin Luther King, Jr Parade held in down town Eufaula. This was the largest parade ever in Eufaula. Eufaula High School Band, color guards, Motorcyclists, horses, civic organizations, sororities, churches, local officials, paternities, groups, local businesses participated. Jarrell Jernigan, wide receiver for Troy State University looking to be drafted by a pro team this year served as the Grand Marshall. Hundreds of people gathered to see this event. |
