NAACP Barbour County Branch Attends The National Convention in NY During the NAACP 100th Year Celebration

July 11th through 17th 2009 The National convention for NAACP was held in beautiful New York City. The NAACP Celebrated it's 100th Anniversary, the oldest Civil Rights Organization. The honorable 44th president Barack Obama was the key note speaker at thursday night banquet. We had the highest attendance of the national convention ever.  It was very educational ,very inspiring and up lifting. Kudos to the NAACP.
