NAACP Barbour County Branch Holds 2009 Freedom Fund Banquet

n Sept.19th 2009 The Barbour County branch held its 4th Freedom Fund Banquet at the newly renovated Lake Point State resort that is so beautiful. The state President Dr. ED Vaughn made one of the most dynamic and inspiring speeches that we have ever had. He spoke on the origin of our existence and the back ground of our culture. We want to thank Roz Durden of Mead Westvaco for the greetings from our corporate sponsor for there support. we also want to thank Representative Billy Beasley for all his support though out the year. thanks to our city and county officials for there support. Thanks to all that attended. The banquet was a sold out event.
