NAACP Works with Agricultural Department and Boys & Girls Club
to teach kids about farming

May 2009 until Aug.2009 the Barbour County NAACP worked with the boys and girls club the whole summer. Mr. William Tarver the disaster relief chair was there every week. We have made plains to work this summer with the Agriculture department & the NAACP and the boys and girls club to take 1 acre. of land to teach them how to plant different veg. and take to the market to sell and give the profit to the boys and girls club to help them in there great work. |
