April 8th 2008 at the 56 Annual Southeast Region civil rights advocacy Training Institute where the Barbour County Branch won the Ruby Hurley Award being ranked Top in the Hodd region of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee in the Adult Division. Also pictured is President Ed Vaughn, 1st vice Benard Simmonton, 2nd vice Rev. Allen Forte and 3rd vice Rev. Vincent Turner. The Jackson Mississippi Branch did a great job. The Alabama State won a title of 12 Awards youth and adults. Alabama keep up the good work. We are proud of the Barbour County Branch. |
