During the month of March 2009, the NAACP held a press conference to discuss the cartoon character of Barrack Obama in the NewYork Times on Fox networks.Where all of the branches throughout the nation was asked to delievery a letter to the Fox networks that's connected with NewYork Times, asking that they support the NAACP on such a disgraceful thing on our commander in chief our ceo Ben Jealous asked for the resignation of the editor in cheif,which aloowed it to be published, and the cartoonist, whom drew it. Rev. Forte and Houston county president Franklin Jones came together to deliever the letter immediately after a press conference was set up at Greater Beluah with the media.We had great results, thanks to everyone that participate. |
